恭賀謝幸㚬博士榮獲傑出人才基金會「補助博士後學者赴國外從事永續發展研究」獎學金
恭賀國立成功大學藥學系、臨床藥學與藥物科技研究所暨群體健康數據中心博士後研究員謝幸㚬博士，榮獲傑出人才基金會「補助博士後學者赴國外從事永續發展研究」獎學金，肯定其於生科醫藥與藥物流行病學領域之研究潛力與對永續健康議題的深度投入。
謝博士之研究計畫以真實世界資料與人工智慧資料探勘為核心，系統性發掘既有藥物於高齡族群急性併發症預防上的新應用，藉由促進老藥新用，降低新藥開發成本與醫療資源負擔，提升高齡照護效率，實踐永續醫療與健康老化之目標，研究理念亦與聯合國永續發展目標高度契合。
未來謝博士將前往美國 哈佛醫學院 與 布萊根婦女醫院 藥物流行病學與藥物經濟學部門進行進階研究，期許其於國際舞台持續深化學術能量，為全球永續健康與藥物研究貢獻重要成果。
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Hsing-Chun (Miyuki) Hsieh, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Pharmacy, the Institute of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Population Health Data Center, National Cheng Kung University, has been awarded the Outstanding Talent Foundation Scholarship for Postdoctoral Researchers Conducting Overseas Research on Sustainable Development. This honor recognizes her strong research potential in biomedical sciences and pharmacoepidemiology, as well as her dedication to advancing sustainable healthcare research.
Dr. Hsieh’s funded research integrates real-world data and artificial intelligence–based data mining to systematically identify drug repurposing opportunities for the prevention of acute complications in older adults. By promoting the reuse of existing medications, this work aims to reduce the high costs and long timelines associated with new drug development, optimize healthcare resource utilization, and improve care efficiency in aging societies. The research framework aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in advancing sustainable health systems and healthy aging.
With this support, Dr. Hsieh will pursue advanced research training at Harvard Medical School and the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at Brigham and Women's Hospital in the United States.
